We have arrived!

The long anticipated wait is over. We had one of the smoothest trips anyone could dream of! We got off of our final plane in Vienna, walked right through customs, and when we got to the baggage claim all of our bags happened to be coming out at the same time. Then, we had to go look for our Taxi. As soon as we walked out the door, we saw our sign and hopped into the taxi! Vienna is a large and beautiful city! The girls and I just got to our hostel where we showered up and are getting ready to go explore. We will start teaching on Monday and are so excited to meet the new students and teachers. Wish us luck!

The time has arrived!

Our plane just got to the gate and we are getting ready to board. We will land in Houston and then fly to London from there. Our flight will be 9 hours and 35 minutes from Houston to London. I hope I can sleep on the plane!!

All packed!

It's now 9:30 on Wednesday night and I'm pretty much packed and ready to go! I'm
very excited, nervous, and anxious all at the same time! I'm hoping for a smooth ride through the air tomorrow. More updates to follow!

Good morning,

It's now Saturday, 5 days, until we leave for Austria! Yesterday was my last day in my elementary school here. I was very sad to say goodbye to all of the amazing students in my 2nd grade classroom. It was a great year and I am so proud of each and every one of them for the learning they have done this year. For those of you I missed yesterday, Caleb and Abby, I wish you a great rest of the year and will keep in touch here on the blog! Thank you for a great year. I will miss you and Mrs. Garcia very much!

Greetings!

I am now on a ten day count down until I leave for Austria. I am going with 4 other wonderful girls to teach in Austria as a part of our teaching program at the University of New Mexico. We will be there from April 27th- May 30th. I hope to write and post pictures regularly while abroad to share my experiences with my loved ones at home. Stay tuned for more posts and pictures!
